About Us

Welcome To Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. We have been in existence since 1913 and have continued to grow and expand spiritually as well as physically. We’re led by our Pastor, Rev. James C. Jones. We are a Christ Centered church and we believe that Salvation is the most important thing in this life. We know that without Salvation, upon death a person’s soul will have to spend eternity in with no way out! Therefore, we feel that it is our mission to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ throughout the community and around the world so that souls will be saved.

Mt. Calvary is moderate in size, multicultural in composition and we have a family type atmosphere. We come together to worship, study and serve. We have “In-reach” ministries that provide opportunities for our members to serve the Lord and encourage each other. We also have “outreach” ministries where we go into the community to spread the Salvation story and win souls for Christ.

Our Youth Department provides age appropriate activities and Christian education for our younger members.

The Lord has blessed Mt. Calvary to minister individuals and families in a variety of situations. So if you do not have a church home, look at what our church has to offer and please come to visit us. Then, if you choose to join our family, please do!
